SystmConnect brings every way a patient can get in touch — smartphone app, website form, phone call or reception desk — into one system built on SystmOne. Requests are automatically matched to the patient's record, coded, and routed to the right clinical or admin team, with replies sent back by whichever route suits the patient: message, letter, phone call or video consultation.
It is used by GP practices, primary care networks (PCNs), NHS trusts and other non-GP services to manage demand, cut down on phone queues, and give patients a clear way to ask for help without needing to know which team to contact.
These guides cover the patient-facing side (submitting a request, choosing how to hear back) and an overview for practice staff getting a service set up. They are written independently, based on publicly available information from TPP, to help people use the system with confidence.
