What this site is

Patient App Guides publishes independent, step-by-step guides that explain how to use SystmConnect (an online consultation and total triage platform) and Airmid (a patient-facing app), both built by TPP on the SystmOne clinical system. The guides are aimed at patients, carers and practice staff who've been pointed to one of these tools and want a clear explanation of how to use it.

Important: this is not an official TPP, SystmOne or NHS site

Patient App Guides is not TPP (Phoenix Partnership) Ltd, and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or operated by TPP, SystmOne, SystmConnect, Airmid, AirmidCares, or the NHS. SystmOne, SystmConnect and Airmid are products and trademarks of their respective owners. We're an independent publisher writing general help content, based on publicly available information.

Where our information comes from

Our guides are written from publicly available information, including TPP's own official pages at tpp-uk.com, general knowledge of how NHS online consultation and patient-record apps typically work, and plain description of features TPP has publicly documented. We do not have access to TPP's internal systems, and we don't speak on TPP's behalf.

Because every GP practice and NHS service configures these tools slightly differently, some details — exact button names, response times, which forms are offered — will vary by practice. Where we can't be specific, we say so, and we always recommend checking your own practice's instructions for anything account-specific.

For official information

For official documentation, pricing, clinical safety information, terms and conditions, or to report a problem with the platform itself, go directly to TPP:

Patients looking for official Airmid support should also visit AirmidCares.co.uk, TPP's dedicated patient help site.

For anything specific to your own care — appointments, prescriptions, messages, or access problems — contact your GP practice or NHS service directly. For a medical emergency, always call 999. For urgent advice when your practice is closed, use NHS 111.

Feedback and data

Each guide has a short "was this helpful?" widget. If you use it, we store whether you found the guide helpful, any optional comment you add, and the time — nothing else identifying is collected. We use this only to improve the guides.
