How to see upcoming appointments, book available slots online, and set reminders so you don't miss them.
Airmid's Appointments tab shows what's coming up and, where your practice allows it, lets you book directly without having to call.
- 1
Open the Appointments tab
This shows any appointments already booked for you, including video consultations.
- 2
Check for bookable slots
Tap the option to book a new appointment to see what's currently available — this varies by practice and appointment type.
- 3
Choose a slot and confirm
Select a time that works, confirm the booking, and add it to your phone's calendar with a reminder.
- 4
Manage or cancel if plans change
Use the same screen to cancel or, where offered, rebook — cancelling promptly frees the slot for someone else.
Tips & things to watch for
- Not every appointment type is available to book directly — some need to go through an online consultation or triage step first, so your practice can route you to the right clinician.
- Turning on calendar reminders is one of the simplest ways to cut down on missed appointments.
- If you can't see any bookable slots, it doesn't necessarily mean none exist — some practices release appointments at set times of day.
Frequently asked questions
Why can't I see any appointments to book?
Some practices only release a portion of appointments for online booking, or require certain requests to go through triage first. Contact the practice directly if you need something sooner.
Can I book an appointment for a family member?
If you have proxy access set up for them, you may be able to manage their appointments from within your own Airmid account — see our proxy access guide.
